Nineteen-Eighty Four Our Novel
Our 25th Reunion Book will be a keepsake for the entire class help make it a success! With apologies to George Orwell, we've started to plan what many classes have told us is one of the most lasting, memorable things that comes out of the 25th Reunion, even for those who don't attend: The 25th Reunion Book. Part yearbook, part directory, part meditation on growing up, these books have the potential to show the range of our class's collective journey, to share the stories of where we are and where we came from and to let us rediscover each other with the distance of time and the promise of the future. The heart of the book will come from your own contributions. Yes, your submissions (everyone in the class, whether attending reunion or not). The first two steps are easy: Step 1. Update your contact information. Step 2. Fill out the class-wide "trivia" questionnaire (feel free to leave fields blank, if you're not inspired) Next, continue with your personal thoughts and photos: Step 3. Submit your personal reflection. What perspectives would you like to share with your Dartmouth classmates, 25 years after we set out from the Hanover plain? Most people write an essay or a biography or take some other literary approach, but anything that can be printed on paper is welcome. Prepare your personal reflection before you begin! Step 4. Upload one or more high-quality digital photos that include you, either contemporary and/or from the good ol' college days (please note that most photos will appear in black & white and that we may not be able to use all photos received). For photo guidelines, click here. Prepare your photos before you begin! Note that you will be able to begin your submission process and continue to add to it or make changes until our cut-off date of March 31, 2009. We highly recommend that you BEGIN TODAY by at least completing Step 1 and Step 2. Thanks in advance for your contributions!
